1. The methodA Carbon Balance® method is the measurement of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions produced directly or indirectly by the activity of your organisation. The wider the field of analysis, the more levers for action you have and the greater the payback of your anticipatory measures. Economic and strategic simulations will measure the vulnerability of your organisation to fluctuations in energy prices and changes in the taxation on GHG emissions . 2. The objectiveThe objective of a Carbon Balance® is to reduce your Greenhouse gas emissions. 3. The conditions for successThe Carbon Balance® is translated by the implementation of concrete actions, initiatives and investments within your company. It enables in fact reductions in GHG emissions to be achieved and savings of a financial order linked to the taxes on and fluctuations in the price of fossil-based energy. In order to attain this objective, it will be necessary, right from the start of the undertaking, to work in empathy and close collaboration with the various stakeholders (study coordinators, steering committee, government authorities, employees, management…). This implies for us, the service provider, ensuring the quality of the sensitisation and communication actions, creating a flexible and mobilising structure of projects, « building » the network within your company in order to organise the collating of data and ideas and disseminating the results in the structures in order to encourage action.
